Instant Pot Whole Chicken

Sooooooo easy and fast! This is seriously a game changer.

What you need:

Whole chicken: 4-5 pounds

Herbs: you can use fresh or I use Bragg’s Sprinkle

Garlic to taste: I used 8 whole cloves

1 Onion- quartered

Celery

Carrots

Salt and pepper

2-3 cups of water or broth (I use bone broth).

I can’t even tell y’all how easy this is! In the Instant Pot, add the broth, onion, carrots, celery, 1/2 the garlic and some of the herbs.

Add the basket and place the chicken in the IP. Rub it with salt, pepper, and herbs to taste. I stuffed the remaining garlic and some of the herbs under the skin.

Cover and pressure cook on high for 25 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally and that is all there is to it! Fall off the bone chicken!
