I had some raspberries that were about to go bad, so I decided to throw them in with the apples I was making into applesauce. Turned out great and adds some fiber to make a healthy dish even healthier!
What you need:
6 peeled, cut apples
1 pint raspberries
Simply steam together. I placed the raspberries on top because they turn to mush pretty quickly.
When done, simply purée and that’s it! The sweetness of the sauce will depend on the fruit. If your little one is over 12 months, you can sweeten with honey. If younger, try maple syrup or agave nectar.
