You might think making baby food is difficult and time consuming but that’s not the case! Start with this easy applesauce recipe which is the basic process I use for turning most fruits and vegetables into delicious, healthy, nutrition packed meals for your most cherished little ones.
What you need:
6 ripe red apples
Peel the apples.
Dice and place in a saucepan with a couple inches of water and a steamer basket.
Cover, heat on high, and steam 5-10 minutes or until soft.
Transfer to a blender.
Purée.
Place in jar. Makes approximately a pint.
